The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA) is a recently established, national, charitable group that engages patients, clinicians, and researchers to increase knowledge of lobular breast disease and promote lobular breast cancer research. LBCA aims to empower patients to be more informed partners in their self-care and treatment and help clinicians to be more informed and confident in the treatment plans they promote. LBCA also fosters dialogue among clinicians and researchers to address challenges of detecting and treating ILC, discuss groundbreaking findings, identify new ILC research priorities and opportunities for collaboration, and funds ILC research directly.
There is no other organization like the LBCA dedicated to lobular breast cancer education, patient advocacy and advancing ILC research. And it needs support to continue its great work and to fund more and more crucial ILC research. LBCA is currently a fiscally sponsored project of the charitable organization Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs (SEE). Tax exempt donations for LBCA can be made through SEE. Your generous support furthers LBCA’s ability to ensure that lobular breast cancer is found early, treated effectively, and eradicated permanently.
